Ingredients

2 cups All Purpose Flour

2 1/2 tablespoons Matcha Green Tea Powder

12 tablespoons Unsalted Butter, softened

1 pinch coarse salt

1 cup + 2 teaspoon Confectioner’s Sugar

2 large Egg Yolks, room temperature

1 bar Chocolove Ruby Chocolate

1 bar Chocolove Extreme Dark Chocolate

Recipe

Combine Matcha and Flour in a bowl using a sifter

In a separate bowl, beat softened butter then add pinch of salt

Add confectioner’s sugar to butter mixture an beat until texture is soft and light

Add egg yolks to butter mixture

Gradually add matcha flour to butter, do not overmix

Wrap dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate until firm, at least 2 hour

Preheat over to 350℉ (turn off convection or reduce temp by 25℉)

Roll dough into 1/3″ sheet and use cookie cutter to cut hearts

Place hearts onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper

Bake cookies for about 15 minutes or until the edges get slightly golden brown

Remove from oven and let cool completely

Melt chocolate in a double broiler or microwave

Dip cookies and optionally garnish with a pinch of matcha powder

Let cool until chocolate hardens
